We recommend that a child attend their first dental visit 6 months after their first tooth makes its appearance. This allows parents an opportunity to gain information about caring for baby teeth and also provides a great introduction to the dental environment for the child. Staff at River City Dental are very approachable and are happy to work with you to meet the needs of all your family members. Whenever possible, we provide restorative dental care for Children.
Did you know that you can commemorate your child’s first lost baby tooth with a special certificate from the Canadian Dental Association (CDA)? Simply send an email to reception@cda-adc.ca that includes your child’s first name, gender, the date on which the tooth was lost and your complete mailing address. Your child will receive a Smile Certificate in the mail as a keepsake of this important occasion!
